A new pump station will be constructed southwesterly of the existing pump station at the Los Alamitos Retarding Basin. Located in the cities of Seal Beach and Long Beach, the project will nearly double the capacity of the existing pump station. The project consists of a new containment structure, intake structure, control room, new pumps and natural gas engines, new control panels, back-up fuel support systems and other equipment.
