Introduction

RFP/RFQ – Architect-Engineer Consultant Projects

The District awards projects to Architect-Engineer (A-E) consultants based on a consultant’s qualifications and County of Orange contract policies. Consultant qualifications are determined based on responses to the District’s issuance of either a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP).

In addition to the procurement of contracts through the RFP and RFQ process, the Orange County Board of Supervisors has authorized the OC Public Works to establish a slate of A-E firms at periodic intervals for on-call professional services. Qualified firms may also be considered for the on-call professional services.
